Gaga split from Carino just one week before she won the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 91st Academy Awards for Shallow from A Star is Born. They had been engaged since November 2017.
A second insider says that Renner was there for Gaga after the breakup, and “they’ve become super close and hang out all the time.” The Bad Romance singer has also bonded with Renner’s 6-year-old daughter, Ava, who he shares with ex Sonni Pacheco.
Rumors of a blossoming romance between Gaga and Renner come after fans thought for sure something was going on between Gaga and Bradley Cooper when they witnessed their steamy performance of Shallow at the Oscars. But Bradley is in a relationship with his model girlfriend, Irina Shayk, and they also have a daughter together.
Just because they aren’t romantically involved, it doesn’t mean Gaga and Cooper don’t plan on capitalizing on their popularity after their movie and Oscars performance. An insider says that the duo will collaborate for a song on Gaga’s new album.

“Since singing Shallow proved to be so popular with fans, they’ve come up with another song based on the doubts that young people can often feel about themselves, but are afraid to share with adults,” says the source.
Gaga and Cooper are also planning on doing a duet for charity that will hopefully raise millions for mental health provisions in schools.
Lady Gaga and Cooper do enjoy working together, but Shayk is reportedly over it. She is done with all of the romance talk and is ready for the rumors about her boyfriend and his co-star to come to an end.

Shayk doesn’t talk publicly about her personal life, explaining in a recent interview that she has friends that do that, and she thinks it’s great. But it is a choice. And, since her work requires her to put herself out there, Shayk has decided to keep her personal life quiet.
